Improving the quality of health services in Indonesia is one way to improve the competence of medical personnel. Since the implementation of the policy that guarantees nurses have a minimum education level of Nursing Profession, there are still many nurses who graduated from D3 Nursing who have not continued their education. The purpose of this study aims to determine the factors related to the motivation of nurses to continue their education to the level of Nursing Profession at Mas Amsyar Kasongan Regional General Hospital. This study used a quantitative approach with a descriptive analytical design. The sample consisted of 62 D3 Nursing nurses with a total sampling technique. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using simple and multiple linear regression with t-test. The results showed that there was a significant relationship between family support (p = 0.002), income level (p = 0.001), superior support (p = 0.000), and length of service (p = 0.042) with the motivation of nurses to continue their education to the level of Nursing Profession. Support from family, adequate income, encouragement from superiors, and work period ?6 years became the motivation of nurses to continue their education. Family support, income level, subordinate support, and length of service significantly impact nurses' motivation to continue their education. Hospitals, families, and educational institutions are expected to play an active role in increasing nurses' motivation so they can achieve professional competency according to national standards.
